To Victoria, of Victoria Jane Millinery, headwear is all about showcasing one's personality and creativity, be it quite and conservative or bold and vivacious. "I was drawn to Millinery for its uniqueness. I just love how a headpiece might be a simple, elegant accessory to complete an outfit; or an incredible piece of design and skill" says Victoria.
After moving to Melbourne, Victoria decided to satisfy her curiosity in millinery by taking the leap and studying at the Melbourne Fashion Institute.
Like many miliners, Victoria has always had an interest in design, be it painting, drawing or any other form of creativity. Since undertaking her study at MFI she has honed and developed her skills and now has her own Millinery label. Victoria's designs are a beautiful blend of luxurious materials, delicate finishes and a touch a bling, all of which have been lovingly crafted by Victoria herself. A gorgeous example of her work is this very on trend silk and lace halo crowns headpiece which features hand made silk roses with a touch of gold leather leaves.
