When Ochini presented her fabric flower bouquets at a wedding showcase last year she was surprised to find that the hair accessories she presented as a side interest provoked a lot of attention from onlookers. From that day on, her focus was redirected into headwear, mainly featuring flowers in silk and satin in a range of printed and plain materials.
Ochini's thirst for knowledge lead her to Hat Academy, where she was able to refine and enhance her skill set and incorporate more technical elements into her creations. A great example of her flower making is featured in the above image of a gorgeous flower, made in a vivid printed fabric and completed with stamens. We love how this fabric has transformed what could be a simple flower into a magnificent focal point.
