School teacher by day and milliner by night, Mandy Pan's designs show the duality of her careers where the ethos, practice makes perfect has lead her in the right direction. Mandy knows the importance of being the student and the teacher and it is evident that she has worked very hard to refine her craft. The image featured is a great example of Mandy's use of texture through different materials including lace and straw. We love how this simple shaped base has been transformed by the addition of a delicate lace trim.

With a repertoire of skills at her disposal and an eye for detail Mandy's designs are an absolute delight. Mandy also has a fabulous skill in creating silk flowers, you can see her application as a student shines through and allows her to create meticulously crafted flowers. Mandy's silk flowers are works of art in themselves, and we love her tonal tinting in the petals and intricate detail in the blooms.
