Being such a niche industry, it is rare to find something that is truly made for the milliner in mind. Fashion, design and accessories books are in abundance everywhere we look but rarely is there much specific to millinery. Luckily Fashionary has developed a specially designed book tailored to the headwear designer which is an essential guidebook for any milliner looking to add to her armoury of tools.

Often when drawing sketches both for your own design purposes and for clients to view it can be hard to create a consistent look. With the
Fashionary Headwear Edition Sketchbook, the design process is made easy with the addition of a head size measurement chart, facial features and hair style charts, head direction examples, anatomy of hats diagram, hat style library and a glossary of hat terms. Each of these features are very helpful to aid in the design process.
Possibly the best feature of the book is the 700 lightly dotted templates which adorn the remaining pages of the sketchbook which allow the designer to draw left, front, back and right side views of proposed designs. The lines take the guesswork out of drawing the base shape of the head and make the process much more enjoyable and easy. Another great feature included in the book and an important part of the design process is the inclusion of a date mark on each page.
