Sculpturing with Crinoline is a great way to create a statement Headpiece. It has been used for years in vintage clothing and was originally made from horse hair and used to stiffen frothy Crinoline skirts. Today it is all synthetic & comes in a great colour range. To add a more dramatic shaping it can be wired as seen in Hatinators Lesson or as a complete hat brim in Crinoline Lesson. For this Headpiece Bronwyn Gill has chosen pleated crinoline, as it has added strength but still displays translucency over the face.
