About Me: I started my hat journey 25 years ago, working for Ilana Hats, a Commercial hat making factory in the workroom, trimmng Racewear and Casual hats. Little did I know then that my husband Mark and I would later become partners in the Company, and rebrand it as iLANA DESIGNS. In the beginning I enrolled in a couple of Louise Mc Donalds classes, attended some Master Classes, Millinery Conventions and forums, taught dyeing techniques at the Melbourne Convention and fast forward till now. My role in the Company is to design, source and engage in Product Development for major chain Stores. On a personal note I also design and make my own hats to order.
