I run an online accessories shop InezGill.com. We hand make each piece and are best known for our knitted bows. Coming fall of 2012 we will be releasing out first traditional bridal line. I actually became interested in millinery while creating our bridal line because so many of the techniques come from millinery.
Welcome to Hat Academy Courtney. Checked out your website - such a novel concept. The bows look great. I will be teaching bridal work online soon & this may help you to expand your expertise ! Feel free to share your hat or headpiece creations, join in or start a hatters discussion and add your info to the My Store panel above. Remember online help is a click away. To begin with Lessons check out our Get Started page. I am looking forward to sharing Millinery techniques, ideas and fashion news with you.
Hi Courtney, Lesson 6 is all about Bows in fabric & Straw. The Bridal lessons have not been recorded yet and may not be until after Spring Racing here in Australia.
Will keep you informed as I want to teach veil styles plus different edgings for bridal veils also. Keep in touch. -Elaine
