- I like to extend myself in different directions. I was a student of fashion design and dressmaking for several years. Naturally, you need hats and gloves and things to heighten the overall look, so I began to study millinery. Well, I must say that I was taken completely aback by just how many variations of these dizzying confections one can really muster up. I have devoted my time exclusively to hats and headwear of all sorts since then.
