I began designing hats and head apparel over 20 years ago, while I was a design student at Otis Art Institute of Parson’s School of Design in Los Angeles. I had a small millinery business back then, which later was put on hiatus when other life adventures called. I am invigorated by the new generation of milliners who have inspired me to come out of a long hibernation to once again start creating unique and one-of-a-kind headpieces.
Over My Head showcases my new creations as well as re-released original pieces from my personal millinery collection. I even throw in a few inspirational vintage finds!
All pieces (with the exception of vintage hats) are unique, one-of-a kind items personally made by me. Items in the collection may be similar, but no two will be exactly the same. I LOVE handmade items and I'm sure you do too! My hope is that you will be able to see my handiwork in the pieces and appreciate any slight imperfections as evidence of the artist’s hand.
