I Love Hats Because?: They complete any outfit... You can have a simple dress on that can be transformed in an instant by the addition of a fascinator, hat or headpiece. To me, millinery is almost like creating little sculptures or pieces of art work.... you are only limited by your imagination.

About Me: I am a 31-year-old female who has been working as a costume and set designer since 2002. In 2005 I graduated 'NIDA', Sydney where I completed the Bachelor of Theatre Design course. On top of this, I have also completed numerous fashion courses at 'Melbourne School of Fashion'. These courses included 'Certificate of Millinery Construction and Design', 'Certificate of Styling and Couture' and 'Certificate of Pattern Making and Garment Construction'. I have worked for companies such as 'The Australian Ballet' (Melbourne), 'Queensland Theatre Company' (Brisbane) and 'State Opera of SA' (Adelaide). I am also a freelance Costume, Couture and Millinery Designer and I am now based in Brisbane, which is where I am originally from.
