Not sure why I love hats so much but I do. Hats have become such an important part of my life and now my daughter has joined the business. Designing hats bring out the creative person in me, although, I have been inspired by the hats from the 1950's, and therefore this period is often present in the designs I create. I believe hats to be the icing on the cake when a lady wishes to dress to impress!
About Me
From maths teacher to milliner. Little did I realise when I started teaching I would have my own business designing and making hats for clients. You never know where the future might lead.
I love working with felts too but in sub-tropical Queensland there is little demand these days. I am a trained teacher also and 20 years ago made a decision to go full time millinery rather than going back teaching & having to retrain with Govt. Best decision I have ever made so enjoy it. I hope you pick up some new skills here. Another 20 + lessons to come.
