My pillbox hat block used for 'Clementina' is 18.25" circimference; 5.75" diameter; 1.75" deep to the groove or 2.75" total depth. This is a block custom made for me by a friend.  The actual sinamay base pillbox  for 'Clementina' is 1.75" deep approx. Three shades of gold/orange silk abaca used. The orange wrapped around the sides of the pillbox and the other two colours forming the shapes on the top.

Unsure about Cheltenham this year....hope you enjoy it if you go.   Marion
