This is perfect for the Kentucky Derby.

Synthetic horsehair (crin) was hand dyed to a mauvish pink color and then hand blocked. After it was hand blocked, the brim was wired for shape.

A lovely matching colored fabric was used as the crown band. The same fabric was then fashioned into a large bow for the side of the hat and hand made roses.

The finishing touch was to add clusters of vintage flowers all along the front of the hat.

It was all hand sewn and hand blocked.
