I have a question about how you made the brim of your hat.  I don't want to copy your hat but I have a fabric that would look fabulous the way you've done your brim.

If you can help me, I truly appreciate it.  If you can't, I completely understand

Joellen, I am sure it isn't a deep dark secret. LOL It is achieved by wiring the netting brim. One side of the split turns up, the other down. The binding helps tighten the brim to hold it.  I am not sure whether a heavier fabric will work as well without supporting wires as would be used in a basic wired brim.  Caution THIS BRIM IS VERY DELICATE, IF YOU NEED TO MAIL THIS HAT SHIP IN A PLASTIC TUB.

Thank you so much for replying.  The fabric I'm going to use is very, very lightweight.  I don't think that will be a problem.  I'm going to try it.  The absolute worst that can happen is it won't work and I'll try something else.

Have a great day.
