This hand formed, hand sewn Panama straw sun hat is perfect for just about any occasion. It can be dressed up or down for a wedding, church or nice Spring/Summer outing whether in blue jeans or dress this hat fills the bill.

The finished colors are a base of antique gold, and it is trimmed with blue, yellow, and white.

It was hand blocked from a vintage Panama straw cartwheel. After it was hand blocked, the brim was wired for shape and then trimmed

I used vintage grosgrain ribbon for the crown band and a vintage fancy made from cording and attached it to the side bow for added interest.

If you wanted extra color a spray of artificial flowers could be pinned to the crown band so you could change the look from time to time.

The hat was all hand sewn and hand blocked.

The inside is unlined but does have a grosgrain band. There is an elastic added for extra stability as it sits on top the head instead of onto the head.

Fits head sizes 22" but can fit larger because of the way it sits on top of the head.
