Red Woven Straw Cloche Hat - Ribbon Work Accents

This cloche is hand blocked from a very high quality vintage red woven straw hood. It is a beautiful woven design and the straw is bright and shiny.

The hat was blocked so it has a classic cloche profile.

It is trimmed in a striped grosgrain ribbon that I worked into an cockade and square blocked design.

The hat is unlined but has a grosgrain band.

The hat will comfortably fit head sizes 22" to 23 1/2" with smaller head sizes wearing the hat lower on the head.

Sharon Panozzo: Thank you Rita. Cloches are a favorite of mine as well. This straw is a vintage hood/cone as are most of the items in my stash. I love the vintage because they are (in my opinion) better quality and unusual in style.
