This beautiful straw sun hat is a timeless hat. It is perfect for the Kentucky Derby.

A vintage woven straw cartwheel was hand dyed to a light yellow color and then hand blocked. After it was hand blocked, the brim was wired for shape.

A pretty sheer ribbon was used as the crown band. The same fabric was then fashioned into a bow for the side of the hat and was ruched for the underbrim.

The finishing touch was to add vintage maline tulle to the upper brim and then clusters of vintage and ribbon flowers all along the front of the hat.

It was all hand sewn and hand blocked.

The inside is unlined but does have a grosgrain band. If you would like a comb or elastic added for extra stability please let me know upon purchase so I can add it to the hat before shipping.

Fits head sizes 21 3/4 " to 22 1/4" comfortably.
