Hi CYNTHIA.  I'm wearing the hat in my profile pic.  It was blocked on a tall pill box and made from a buckram foundation.  Its 98% hand made, the only regular sewing machine stitching is the preparation of the bow and the lining of the hat.  I don't like to glue my bandings on anything, just too messy and if you decide to use the trim on something else, the glue will ruin the detachment of the banding from the fashion fabric and also its possible to mar the back of the bindings.

Also Cynthia, I make all my clothes including purses to match my hat and I made this suit back in 2000.
