This "Towney" cowboy hat was created using both a buckskin brown and a milk chocolate excellent quality vintage velour fur felt hood. These felt hoods were hand formed over block(s) to form the type of cowboy hat a hand would wear into town to church or a dance.

The "Towney" has a crown crease and a dent on each side of the dent. The brim is slightly smaller than a regular ranch hand cowboy hat and therefore a bit more dressy looking. It is much like a Fedora with a slightly larger brim.

This hat has a milk chocolate brown brim with a matching grosgrain band around the edge and at the crown. The crown of the hat is a buckskin brown. The two tone look is quite handsome.

The inside is finished with a satin lining and a leather headband (sweatband). Fits head sizes 23" for women or size 7 3/8 (for men)
