This pillbox toque was created with a burnt orange vintage felt hood from Italy. It is reminiscent of the 1960s when burnt orange was everywhere.

The entire hat is covered in matching vintage burnt orange veiling giving a slight sheen to the hat.

The same veiling is also used to accent the hand made matching felt roses and leaves on the left side of the hat.

An additional accent is the thin orange velvet ribbon that circles the entire hat and ends in a small bow just underneath the roses.

The head size opening is 22" but since it sits on top of the head it can fit larger sizes up to 23".

The hat is unlined but has a grosgrain band.

It is secured to the head with an elastic band to be worn around the back of the head and hidden in the hair.
