Frolic is a romantic square-shaped headpiece of hand blocked sinamay overlaid with vintage French lace from the 1950s. Instead of the usual straw or grosgrain binding, I embroidered the edge in a satin stitch to echo the feel of the lace using a custom blend of 5 pastel shades of embroidery floss.
