This beautiful white on white straw sun hat is perfect for the Kentucky Derby, a wedding, church or nice Spring/Summer outing. The shape and style is typical of a picture hat

It was hand blocked from a vintage woven straw cartwheel. After it was hand blocked, the brim was wired for shape and to give a slight ruffle to the brim edge.

I fashioned the ribbon work crown band with the same vintage taffeta ribbon that adorns the side of the hat.

I added vintage flowers and leaves to complete the look for a light, airy, and feminine hat.

The hat was all hand sewn and hand blocked.

The inside is unlined but does have a grosgrain band. If you would like a comb or elastic added for extra stability please let me know upon purchase so I can add it to the hat before shipping.

Fits head sizes 22 1/2" to 23" comfortably.
