This beautiful off white and dark blue straw sun hat is perfect for the Kentucky Derby, a wedding, church or nice Spring/Summer outing. The shape and style is typical of a picture hat

It was hand blocked from 2 vintage woven straw cartwheels. After they were hand blocked, the 2 brims were sewn and woven together to produce one double colored brim. The off white on the top and the dark blue as the under-brim.

The grosgrain ribbon around the crown is vintage and the same color as the under-brim.

I added a large vintage flower and soft sculpted feather clusters to complete the look for a light, airy, and feminine hat.

The hat was all hand sewn and hand blocked.

The inside is unlined but does have a wide grosgrain band. If you would like a comb or elastic added for extra stability please let me know upon purchase so I can add it to the hat before shipping.

Fits head sizes 22" to 22 1/4" comfortably.
