I love porcelain half dolls and a friend of mine painted this one for me. I dressed the doll in dupioni silk and embellished her with Ribbonwork flowers. The pockets hold small sewing items and under her apron is a scissor holder. I've made many versions of half dolls all with different uses such as pincushions,lampshades etc. All have Ribbonwork on them.
