Hawker Races South Australia 2015
I made both of these hats and was extremely lucky to win both the millinery award for the green sinamay and black flower and silk abaca bow percher and the fashions on the field with the red wool bibi pillbox.
I ended up using around 4 layers of sinamay to give an opaque look as it was an autumn race day and sinamay is traditionally used for spring/summer races. Was one very happy girl! :)
