Love the 'smocked' look. Very innovative. Smocking on baby's clothes was a favourite of mine in the 70's Would never have dreamt using in millinery Congrats
Thanks Elaine, My mother made most of my baby-clothes in the 70s and they were all smocked, I have a few retro patterns in my workroom :) I love 70s fashion, macramé too. The grain of jinsin, abacca etc, lends itself to pleating quite well so it helps -I will definitely re-visit the smocking a few more times.
