I feel as though the great milliners of the past would approve of this spectacular little tilt hat! It is very much in the abstract style of milliners such as Schiaparelli or Dache.

The hat is constructed of a piece of 100% wool felt in a dark navy color. There is a brown vintage faux bird with long (rooster) tail feathers swooping around the side of a nest. The nest is constructed out of a piece of long vintage veiling in a tan color, which has been swirled in a circle on the top of the hat, and attractively drapes down the front side. Three pearly vintage millinery berries are the "eggs" in this abstract nest.
