This beautiful straw sun hat is a timeless hat. It is perfect for the Kentucky Derby.

A vintage raffia and crin woven straw cartwheel in an ivory color was hand blocked and the brim was wired for shape.

A pretty sheer multi-tinted ribbon was used as the crown band. The same ribbon was then fashioned into ribbon roses and was used for a brim binding. Vintage baby breath flowers were added that contained the same range of colors as the ribbon.

The finishing touch was to add gathered blue organza to the under brim and a matching blue ostrich feather to the crown.

It was all hand sewn and hand blocked.

The inside is unlined but does have a grosgrain band. If you would like a comb or elastic added for extra stability please let me know upon purchase so I can add it to the hat before shipping.

Fits head sizes 21 3/4 " to 22 1/4" comfortably.
