This pretty 1950s style hat fascinator was hand formed from buckram and millinery wire. It was then covered in vintage feed sack flowered fabric.

The vintage feed sack fabric gives it the classic 1950s look. The colors are a blend of pinks and off white with touches of dark gray.

It is decorated with lovely vintage French dotted chenille veiling, a bow of matching fabric at the back , and vintage velvet flowers on each side of the front.

The wired brim edge is covered in a soft pink velvet and can be gently formed to the wearers head.

It is sleek and sophisticated and would be a wonderful Mother-of-the-Bride (or Groom) hat or could be worn for cocktails, church, or costume events.

The hat sits on top of the head and is secured with a comb at the front. If you would like an elastic band for further security, please let me know at time of purchase so I can insert it before shipping.

The hat is taffeta lined and has a grosgrain band.
