This beautiful sun hat is perfect for the Kentucky Derby. The shape and style would fit into any special occasion you might have.

The crown was hand blocked in buckram and then covered in a silver lame and covered again in beautiful vintage black and gold lace.

The same lace was used to create the ribbon bow, crown band and the centers of the hand made flowers.

The flower petals were made from a sparkly silver and black fabric and the center was made from the vintage lace. Three burnt out ostrich feathers were added. The brim was created from a scalloped pressed and punched thermoplastic and wired so it keeps its shape.

The inside is lined and has a grosgrain band. It fits head sizes 22 1/2 to 22" comfortably
