This pretty cocktail fascinator hat has a blue felt base made from a vintage Italian felt hood and is accented with vintage turquoise tubular straw trim.

The straw was also used to make swirls that were attached to the side of the hat.

Added to these swirls were two large vintage silk flowers in a combination of the turquoise and blue with hints of white. A bit of dotted chenille veiling and some pretty silk leaves complete the hat.

The shape is a modified pillbox style but fits as a fascinator / percher.

Hand formed and hand sewn.

The hat is held onto the head with an elastic band and there is a place for a comb at the side back. It has a grosgrain band.

Fits most head sizes.
