This beautiful light pink straw sun hat is so feminine. Great for any occasion, weddings or church .

It was hand blocked from a vintage woven straw from Italy. It is wide brimmed but there is a slight uptilt to the back of the brim off the neck.

I gathered a long strip of vintage matching crin (horsehair braid) and fashioned it into the crown band. Added to the bottom of the crown band is a narrow strip of pleated crin in a matching color.

The same crin was then fashioned into a large double bow and a large rolled rose. With another design of crin I made a cascading fan and placed it between the bow and the rose for a fuller look. All the crin accessories were made using the techniques found in my book "Creating with Crin" which is also available in my shop.

The hat was all hand sewn and hand blocked.

The inside is unlined but does have a grosgrain band. If you would like a comb or elastic added for extra stability please let me know upon purchase so I can add it to the hat before shipping.

Fits head sizes 22" to 22 1/2" comfortably.
