Hi Beth-

Thank you :)  Yes, it is lined in black kimono silk.  This is a very basic fabric covered hat;  a blocked and wired buckram base with the silk stretched and eased over and stitched.

Did you put a petersham head ribbon in and elastic? Regards

Hi Beth-  Sorry, yes it does have a petersham band inside.  I've used a comb in this rather than an elastic, although I do use elastics in this shape sometimes.  I show my hats in public, and for some reason women look slightly less perplexed by combs.  ?  I wonder if anyone else finds this to be true?

Thank you!  I love this fabric :)  The block is 15cm x 5cm.  It was an ebay find.
