This reproduction 1920s / 1930s style cloche is hand formed from a vintage Italian straw hood. The hood is an open work straw that has been woven with black taffeta ribbon.

Black pleated satin tubing was then woven through the ribbon in a serpentine manner. In the curves of this tubing were sewn the red straw roses. Everything has been hand sewn onto this hat.

The hat has a lovely cloche profile and can be worn to a casual or formal affair.

The hat is unlined but has a grosgrain band.

The hat has a head size opening of 21" to 23 1/4" as the straw is very flexible. It will sit lower an a smaller size head. Model is size 23"
