This beautiful white straw sun hat is perfect for the Kentucky Derby, a wedding, church or Easter. The shape and style is typical of a picture hat

The vintage straw braid was hand sewn then hand blocked into a wide brimmed picture hat. The brim is wired for shape and stability to the brim edge.

The crown band is created from multicolored wired ribbon then hand made ribbon roses were added. Additional accents to the hat include vintage velvet flowers and leaves, as well as a large multicolored ribbon bow on either side of the flowers.

The entire hat is very airy

The hat was all hand sewn and hand blocked.

The inside is unlined but does have a grosgrain band. If you would like a comb or elastic added for extra stability please let me know upon purchase so I can add it to the hat before shipping.

Fits head sizes 21 1/2" - 22 1/4" comfortably.
