Sweeps of black, white and shades of yellow/gold radiate from the centre of the coolie inspired shape down to the edge of the brim which has been bound in black hemp braid. The underside of the piece is a brilliant yellow jinsin. Anchored at various points around the brim with tiny black beads. This very lightweight piece sits on a lined handmade sinamay disc base and secures with a tulle covered headband and elastic.
