Hi Linda, this is beautiful. This looks likes Jinsin, did you dye it yourself? I am interested in dyeing some jinsin and have ordered some high temp dye. Do yo have any expertise in this area? This is a gorgeous piece.

Hi Bron   - Thankyou.  Yes it is jinsin and I bought it this colour about 12 months ago from Torb & Reiner.  I have not dyed jinsin before but I am sure if you ask Waltraud at T&R for some advice on that she would be happy to tell you which way to go.    Very interested to hear of anything that you may find out.

Torb and Reiner now have this colour back in along with other bright colours, which is great news. I am going to give dyeing a try anyway and will let you know how it turns out.
