This is one of my first felted hats-It merino wool felted and embellished with silk tissue, peacock feathers and a crystal bead-there are black crystals on the brim.

Renee, it is really a simple process.The tutorials give you all the information and tuition step by step so that you can create something lovely-you can re visit them at any time for a refresher..You really cannot go wrong-I am sure you would enjoy the process once you got going !

Renee-you can make this hat-the felt is nuno felted with merino wool and silk then finished on a hat block-silk and feathers are applied and the crystal bead finishes it. Look up nuno felting on YouTube and also the class on Hat Academy is very good.
