These net based fabrics have stretch and I would place over a darker shade of pink sinamay brim before binding. Ensure no wrinkles then stitch around collar firstly and then around brim edge to secure -always ensuring no tucks or wrinkles. The darker colour will make the embroidery pop out as a feature. I overheard a store attendant tell in customer " the milliner embroiders flowers onto straw ! " - had to let out the secret LOL
