Travelling with hats?

Many are traveling to Melbourne this Spring Carnival but packing hats in amongst clothing in a suit case might create a millinery mishap.

How do you pack headwear to ensure it arrives undamaged?

I have a lovely, round, vintage suitcase with lock, filled with hats, ready for my cruise.

I simply would not pack anything like hats.Rather than I go and buy from the destination there.
