Hi all!

Does anyone have any experience with shibori silk ribbon? I have seen some fabulous ribbon in Cam Creations and would love to use it, it is shibori, so its pleated, but can be steamed open and flat and that makes a 4 inch  ribbon, but I am wondering if, in its open, flat state, it can be stiffened, or will it loose its luster? It is a rather expensive thing to try to experiment with, so hoping somebody out there can give me the benefit of their experience. Cam creations are not much help with this question!
