Firstly thank you for letting me join this forum, exited I found this site.

I wonder if anyone knows if there is an existing rule or how to calculate how much straw ribbon (is this the correct english word for this material) one needs to create a hat?

I make doll clothes and am a bit at loss with how much ribbon I would need. I suspect there are rules for this?
