Gosh if I had the chance to go to Ascot, I would want to be remembered. I think I would go for a large statement black hat, with lots of fluffy bright pink or purple trim. I would wear a little black dress, bright matching clutch and black shoes, maybe also with a touch of colour trim. I like small and elegant, but I don't know if it would be very memorable if that helps!
Thanks Carena:-) yes your on my wavelength, the only thing is I want to photo lots of lovely hats with my BIG camera without worrying about keeping my own creation oon???

I have made a hat for a lady going into the Royal Enclosure this year. It is a full crown and brimmed black sinamay hat with pheseant feather plume.

It is  quite big, loud and stand out, but still classy. That was the brief!

That's sound gorgeous Rosé! Love pheasant feathers:-):-)

I would want to wear a big hat as well. However, I recently had a client go to the Kentucky Derby in one of my small hats. The day turned out to be very windy, She said she thought she was the only person not having to fight with her hat  all day. She said she literally put it on and forgot about it. She wore a Pink dress and Hat, and her husband wore a grey suit with Pink Shirt, they looked stunning!

Hi all...I'm going for a sinanamy button, with a large silk side bow, pearl inset and veiling. Weather forecast not good wind and rain:-( will take lots of lovely pictures though! See you soon!!
