- Only a hat can deliver the best finish to the best fashions. It sit there patiently giving everyone a nod at what is inside the person and how they are crowned. A hat simply says, "I am an individual and this is what I am about."
- About Me
- I am a straw hat maker. I use only straw as my medium being a member of 5 generations of my family have had done straw work. I love straw for its simplicity but also its brilliance. No other medium is as beautiful a patina as straw. And I define straw as ONLY a material that comes form wheat, rye,oats, barley or rice. I am also the Director and Curator of the American Museum of Straw Art (www.strawartmuseum.org)
