Hats have the ability to transform how a wearer looks and feels. That, and felt hats keep you warm and dry.
About Me
I wore enough vintage hats in high school that the nickname of 'Miss Hat' was applied. At Rhode Island School Design, I studied textiles and made a series of sculptural headpieces for my degree project. Later, I was fortunate to take a proper millinery course at FIT with Mrs Albrizzio, while working in theatrical costume shops.
Recently, I happily resumed my creative endeavors. I combine my textile training with my love of hats to create merino wool felt, which I shape into colorful, draped hats. I'm delighted and inspired to learn more about millinery AND feltmaking. It truly makes me feel happy!
