Congratulations on starting your first lesson Carla! To kick off make sure you have read through Getting Started and FAQs.
I am here to help you Carla. If in Beerwah let me know by email elaine@hatacademy.com and we will meet up for coffee down town. Ask mum to save article on page 5 of today's Glasshouse Country News.
Any questions on individual modules please ask by clicking "Lesson Discussions" located on the lesson video page.
Enjoy your blocks and it is amazing what you can do with a couple of blocks. Yes there is such a variety of talent coming through HatAcademy.
Let me know how you are going with lessons & ask any questions as best way to learn.
I am teaching with Qld Museum this weekend but have an online student coming to see me tomorrow night to discuss her hats and how she can improve. Chat again soon
Hi Carla, I never had any intention to go back teaching but the Cobb & Co Milliner left suddenly and I was approached. At this stage I do not intend to teach from home although I have been asked so many times. I teach at USQ Mcgregor summer school in January for 10 days. That opens on Tuesday but usually fills very quickly. Again it is quite expensive especially with accommodation costs. You are doing so well- I quickly see who has design flair and you have it. How did you go with lesson 10? You must have a few hats completed now Have you sourced an outlet?
