Is it possible to dye with Citric Acid instead of malt vinegar becaus I don't find malt vinegar  ?

Reply from Ian " Unfortunately you can’t use citric vinegar as it strips all the oils from the feather , making them brittle- the colours can look similar, but the feathers just don’t have the same pliability . Many places in Spain & Portugal/ Italy don’t sell malt vinegar , so when I was teaching in Spain, we had to buy malt vinegar from Amazon!! More expensive, but still available as it’s not combustible. If anywhere near an English resort or somewhere with British ex -pats as they love vinegar on everything! " - Ian
