Bias strip circles

I don't know if I have found out something everybody already knows but I have discovered that a bias cut strip can be formed into a circle like grosgrain ribbon. The fabric is poly/satin (would probably work better with natural silk or cotton) and a hot steamy iron. As you can see, the bigger the circle the better. A circle with less than 3 cm in diameter is almost impossible to do with a regular iron (might be easier with a smaller iron and natural fabric)
