This fabric/cloth is made with abaca fibers interwoven with silk threads, and is very finely and closely woven. Similar to Jinsin it can create wonderful curved/circular designs through flexing the fabric vertically, however Abaca Silk is much lighter and softer than Jinsin allowing for more movement and flexibility. It is often used in making hats and fascinators and can be dyed very easily using protein dyes.
