What is not to love about hats? They are fabulous!
About Me
Originally I studied fashion design and worked in the industry for years before crossing over to Millinery in 2009. Since then I have studied under master milliner's and strive for excellent quality and creative edge.
With a young family of 3 children I love making hats to allow me time out from mother duties and give me the creative outlet I need. Building my business with a young family has been slow but 2017 was the year I decided to give it everything and it has paid off with an Exhibition of my Millinery work showcased at Artspace Mackay which was a collection of 30 pieces.
I have also become a member of the Millinery Association of Australia in 2017 and have been invited to participate in the VRC Millinery Award at Flemington which I am very excited to experience for the first time.
I love this blue hat...the shade is lovely. ... especially if your blue eyed. I also like the many folds in this hat...a chlosh (can't spell) but has a softer effect. It almost looks like your styrofoam head is snow covered ice...in my imagination. I am not a milliner, just a mannequin head maker...but I love viewing the hats in Hat Academy as a looker.
